Workshops and drop-in surgeries

We are committed to working collaboratively with you to make sure you are:

  • fully informed
  • involved, and
  • at the heart of future decisions

Holding workshops, surgeries, and similar events like this will be central to achieving this.

Detailed on this page are some of the events that we have planned that you get involved with and share your views with us.

You can also see the events that have been held in the past.

Ladywood drop-in surgeries

You can ask any question and share any view about the regeneration scheme at a Ladywood drop-in surgery.

The surgeries are held on the first and third Thursday of the month at the Ladywood Health and Community Centre.

Members of the project team will be there to talk to you and to listen to any general concerns or queries.

Previous workshops

Workshops to develop a Resident and Community Charter

The Resident and Community Charter will set out the council's offer and commitments to residents within the Ladywood Estate Regeneration Scheme area to make sure the community is treated fairly.

To help draw up the community charter, during October and November 2023, we held 12 community consultation workshops with local residents, businesses, and stakeholders.

The workshops were well attended, with over 300 people attending the 12 sessions.

After the workshops took place, we ran an online survey in early 2024 to ensure those who could not attend workshops had a chance to have their say.

This was followed by an additional set of workshops held in the summer of 2024 which was used to draw together the first draft of the charter.

Surgeries to help people complete the Resident and Community Charter survey

Places at workshops to develop a Resident and Community Charter were limited, so we invited residents to complete an online survey to provide feedback on the information we collected during the workshops.

We organised several workshops to help people complete the online survey, if they needed support to do so.
