What are we doing?
We ensure that the work of local agencies is brought together effectively and that cross-agency projects are co-ordinated successfully. Public Health make strategic decisions on expenditure and service delivery within the three themes of the which are:
- reducing demand
- restricting supply
- building recovery in communities

Birmingham also has an Alcohol Strategy (2012 to 2016) to support strategic decisions around expenditure and service delivery around alcohol. We also have a Drugs & Alcohol Needs Assessment
